My life is a fairy tale.

. . . maybe also a bit of a soap opera. Or an outlandish romance novel.

But mostly? It's just a fairy tale. With one hell of a happily-ever-after.



See this guy? That's Will Foster. My husband. *happy sigh* We met about six months ago when I took a job at the newsmagazine where he worked, the New York Journal. He was the Head of Entertainment, I was his photographer-minion. We hit it off as friends right away, and . . . to be honest, I had a HUGE crush him from the first. But he was older, and SO sophisticated and he had a daughter and a life and . . . I just didn't feel comfortable asking my BOSS out on a date. Eh. So. BUT. One day we were in his office talking, and things got kind of frisky and . . . well. It Just Happened. One minute we were making innuendos, the next we were making out in his chair. And the rest, as they say, is history. Not that there weren't some obstacles along the way, but it doesn't matter now. Along the way, we even discovered that he was the author of a bunch of romance novels that I loved as a teenager and that he even had a fan letter I wrote to him, which inspired him to write one of my favorite books. How crazy is that?!? To put it simply, though: I love him. I love him and I need him more than anything, more than air or rain or sunlight, and I can't believe I'm going to be spending the rest of my life with him. :)



And THIS is my lovely step-daughter and, really, awesome girl and true friend Aileen Foster. She's Will's daughter; her mom, who was Will's best friend, passed away a long time ago. She's pretty much been through every relationship Will's ever had with other guys, which is probably why she HATED me at first when I started dating him. She thought I was just going to break his heart like all the other guys he fell in love with. BUT! I managed to convince her that I was going to do no such thing, and now we're all one big happy family! Insane and very strange, sometimes, but happy! Her boyfriend, G, is a great kid and I like him a lot. Can't tell him that, though. Must be dadly. *nods*



This is my half-sister and best friend in the whole world, Ellie Brewer. My dad knocked up her mom, basically, only we never knew each other existed until earlier this year, and even then we didn't know about the sibling thing until MUCH later. But! It didn't matter, because the first day I walked into the Journal we became instant friends and then best friends! She shares my love of ice cream and all things caffeinated, and she's SO smart and intelligent and confident . . . she's a bit frightening sometimes, really. :-p Love her to death; she's not a bad aunt to her new niece, either. :) Now, if we could just find her a man (or, heh, a woman, mwa ha ha . . .)

My own family is a bit loony. Of course that's partially my fault; I came out to them and everyone else at my rehearsal dinner for my wedding to a WOMAN. >.< But that's in the past.

As for me, personally? I like ice cream, romance novels, show tunes and jazz, Star Trek (don't tell), singing and dancing, photography, food, and really kinky sex. In no particular order, and often in strange combinations. :-D
